How to I book Abermule Community Centre Facilities?
Abermule Community Centre utilises an online booking system to manage bookings. Please navigate to the Booking and Hire section of this website. You will need to familiarise yourself with our terms and conditions and then create a user account. You will be able to make and manage bookings using the self service porthole.
Where can I park to access Abermule Community Centre?
Abermule Communtiy Centre has ample parking for most events.

We kindly ask that between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 on weekdays during term time, centre users refrain from using the carpark opposite the bowling green and adjacent to the main hall. This is to allow the local Community Primary School access and to avoid congestion.

How is Abermule Community Centre Managed?
As a charity, Abermule Communtiy Centre is managed by a team of trustees who meet monthly to ensure the smooth running of the centre.

Day to day management of the Centre falls to the Warden, who reports directly to the trustees.

The trustees hold regular meetings with a consultation group known as Abermule Community Centre Association comprised of regular centre users, representatives of affiliated bodies and stakeholders in the centre.

What happens after I make a booking?
Shortly after making your booking, you should receive a conformation e-mail from our booking platform Skedda. Please review the booking information details to ensure that they are correct. The e-mail will also contain links to the current booking policy and usage information.

If there are any concerns or queries relating to the above you should contact the Communtiy Centre Directly.

The confirmation e-mail will also inform you of your "booking window' This is the time which you are able to freely change or cancel your booking. You may do this using the self service facility or by contacting via e-mail or telephone. Changes to booking outside the booking window may encurr additional cost or forfeit of any deposit.

If you are preparing or supplying food for public consumption you may also be issued with a due diligence record and food hygiene pack. You will need to complete this as per directions. This document is important as it records that you have taken the necessary steps to ensure that your food is safe for consumption. Please return this to the centre for logging in our due diligence diary.

On the date of your booking, unless arranged the centre will be opened ready for you for the beginning of your booking slot (unless agreed by prior arrangement).

Prior to the end of your slot you will need to ensure that or facilities are returned in a reasonable condition. Please budget time to clear up (unless agreed). Any additional cleaning may be billed as per our teams and conditions.

Please exit the centre when you are ready after turning all lights off, and closing all doors and windows. There is no need to wait for their arrival as there may be another booking where the community centre would not need immediate locking.

Please note: throughout the centre there are Communtiy Centre Handbooks that provide essential information on the centre. It also holds the emergency contact details to use should if required.
