Abermule Community Centre Strength in Community

September 2020

NHS Track and Trace App

From Tomorrow (24th September 2020) Abermule Communtiy Centre will be utilising the NHS COVID-19 Track and Trace app.

This will require centre users to download the NHS Track and Trace app onto their Smartphone. Once you have downloaded the app, you must check in using the QR Code delayed by entrances of Abermule Communtiy Centre and other public buildings as you access them.

If you do not have a Smartphone or access to the NHS App, you will need to ensure your attendance at Abermule Communtiy Centre is registered either by scanning in with your Proxy Card or Recording your details on an Attendance Sheet.

TRACK AND TRACE IS NOW A LEGAL REQUIREMENT FOR THOSE ENTERING PUBLIC BUILDINGS. ANYONE ACCESSING ABERMULE COMMUNITY CENTRE MUST REGISTER TRACK AND TRACE DATA.

By downloading and using the app, you’ll be helping protect those around you – friends, family, colleagues and local communities. You’ll also be helping us test the app, helping us all get back to the things we love.

For further information, support or to download the NHS Track and Trace App please go to https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/nhs-services/the-nhs-app/help/

Annual General Meeting: 2020

Following very careful consideration, Trustees of Abermule Communtiy Centre have made the hard decision to cancel our 2020 Annual General Meeting. This is both in the interests of public safety and in consideration to community who may have found it difficult to attend.

As presiding chair, I therefore propose that:

'The existing trustee group remains in place, in block, until the next scheduled Annual General Meeting in June 2021"

This will ensure compliance with our Charity Status and provide continuity of management throughout this extremely difficult period.

Affiliated groups will receive proxy vote on this proposal next week.

The centre financial documents and charity returns will be published on the Communtiy Centre website.

I would like to thank the current trustee group for their diligence, hard work and support throughout the past year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they all have gone above and beyond the normal remit. All Communtiy Centre trustees clearly have the centres interests at heart and dedicate a huge amount of time and effort to the Communtiy of Abermule.
